One of the questions that we receive the most from our clients is how to modify accounting periods, once closed, for a certain time after the fiscal year has ended.
SAP Business One allows -users with the necessary permissions- to define which fields within journal entries can be updated once the period appears as “Locked”.
This field is not selected by default; When selected, they will be able to update the reference fields, comments, UDFs and lines within accounting entries in closed periods.
