Global agreements are long-term agreements for the sale or supply based on pre-defined or special conditions. They work for both customers and suppliers. The biggest advantage of using this tool provided by SAP Business One is that helps you in purchasing planning, sales and financial forecasting.
There are two ways to handle blanket agreements:
-> By articles or Items: A sale/purchase amount is agreed for a particular period
-> For Money/Monetary: Amounts of money are agreed for sale or purchase in a particular period of time
Both methods will help you to know the fulfillment of the agreement and see all the related documents in a consolidated way. Within blanket agreements you can also:
•Have contract termination and renewal reminders
•Attach any document that has been signed
•Schedule recurring transactions
